Rawhide Cycle’s ignitions are made in the USA and are guaranteed to improve performance and reliability. Manufactured to meet exhausting standards with a combined 6 years of research and development, and seamlessly fit for your bike.

This ignition replaces the antiquated points and condenser with new state-of-the-art technology that produces strong, consistent spark for easier starting, better acceleration, and a noticeably smoother ride. Designed for proper fit, and complimentary aesthetic – no “black box” or special modifications necessary for installation.

Included:

Electronic ignition plate with pickup
Rotor
Wire extensions (if needed for top motor mounted coils)
Allen key to adjust your timing right on the plate

Thoroughly tested for durability and longevity and withstands excessive heat and vibration. Each unit is hand-assembled and inspected. Pickups are adjustable for perfect timing. Uses the stock advancer and the included rotor is the exact weight of the stock rotor, so the timing will advance mechanically just as intended. Thorough installation instructions are included.

This ignition works perfectly with a 5.0 ohm coil, such as the Dynatek 5.0 ohm Dual Fire coil, and we also carry a Drag Specialties 5.0 ohm Dual Fire coil.

If you need a mechanical advance, we carry two options for 1970 & later Harley-Davidsons. The American Prime Mfg. Mechanical Advance is the best you can get and made in the USA. For those on a tighter budget we also carry a Drag Specialties Mechanical Advance.
